Spark Gap
Application:
- Bridging connected to the both end of insulating joints of oil & gas pipeline to avoid over voltage damage to the insulating joints by thunder or misoperation.
- Ground the oil & gas pipeline to limit the voltage a a lower level and protect people from over voltage.
- Used in equipotential connection between two independent grounding bodies such as buildings, rail ways and petrochem system etc.
